World AIDS Day was observed with great awareness and responsibility at S.D. College for Women, Sultanpur Lodhi on 1st December 2025. The event was organized by the N.S.S Department and the Red Ribbon Club to educate students about HIV/AIDS, its causes, prevention, and the importance of dignity for every human being under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Vandna Shukla.![]()
Madam Sunita Kaler, N.S.S Program Officer and Red Ribbon Club incharge delivered an informative and impactful lecture on the causes of HIV/AIDS, various preventive measures, and the importance of defence through awareness, safe practices, and early testing. She strongly emphasized that there should be no discrimination against HIV-positive persons, as they deserve equal respect, care, and support in society.![]()
The speaker also highlighted common myths and provided scientific information to help students understand the disease without fear or stigma. ![]()
The program concluded successfully, motivating students to become ambassadors of awareness and humanity.

Constitution Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, passion, and pride at S.D. College for Women, Sultanpur Lodhi on 26th November 2025. The event was jointly organized by the SVEEP Club, N.S.S Department, and Red Ribbon Club. The primary objective of the celebration was to create awareness among students about the fundamental principles of the Indian Constitution and to strengthen their understanding of democratic values.![]()
On this occasion, NSS Program Officer Madam Sunita Kaler delivered a special lecture. In her insightful and inspiring speech, she highlighted the process of drafting the Indian Constitution, the significant contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and the importance of fundamental rights and duties. She motivated the students to embrace democratic values in their everyday lives and to become responsible, aware, and active citizens of the nation.![]()
The program was organized under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Vandna Shukla. Madam Principal appreciated the efforts of the SVEEP Club, N.S.S Department, and Red Ribbon Club for successfully conducting the event. Celebration of National Integration Day on 19-11-2025![]()
National Integration Day was observed with great enthusiasm by the N.S.S Department ,Red Ribbon Club and Eco club of the college on 19th November to commemorate the birth anniversary of Smt. Indira Gandhi, the first woman Prime Minister of India. The event aimed to promote unity, harmony, and a sense of national pride among the students.![]()
Under the guidance of Program Officer Madam Sunita Kaler, a special pledge ceremony was organized in which students and staff actively participated. The National Integration Pledge was administered to reaffirm the commitment towards strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation. The N.S.S Department of S.D. College for Women, Sultanpur Lodhi, celebrated Jan Jatiye Gaurav Diwas with great respect and enthusiasm to honour the rich cultural heritage, valour, and sacrifices of India’s tribal communities. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the role of tribal freedom fighters, especially Bhagwan Birsa Munda, whose birth anniversary is observed on this day.![]()

The guest speaker for the event was Madam Salwinderjit Kaur from the History Department, who delivered an insightful lecture on the life, struggle, and revolutionary spirit of Birsa Munda.
