\n\t\n\t\tUnder the able leadership of Principal Dr. Vandna Shukla, the N.S.S Unit, Eco Club, and Red Ribbon Club of S.D. College for Women, Sultanpur Lodhi celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 in the college campus. The objective of the event was to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to contribute towards a greener and healthier planet.The program commenced with a tree plantation drive led by Principal Dr. Vandna Shukla, who planted a sapling in the college campus and inspired students to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts. Faculty members and students also planted various saplings and pledged to nurture them for a sustainable future.During the event, the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance, reducing pollution, and combating climate change was highlighted. Students were encouraged to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives and take responsibility for protecting the environment.The plantation drive concluded with the message that every individual can make a positive difference through small yet meaningful actions. \n\t\n\t\tOnline Quiz Competition on \u201cYudh Nashiyan Virudh\u201d (War Against Drugs) on 31 May 2026Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Vandana Shukla, an Online Quiz Competition was organized at S.D. College for Women, Sultanpur Lodhi by the Buddy Club in collaboration with the NSS Department as part of the \u201cYudh Nashiyan Virudh\u201d (War Against Drugs) campaign.The objective of the quiz was to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to contribute towards building a drug-free society. \n\t\n\t\tUnder the guidance of the Principal Dr .Vandna Shukla ,the Anti-Terrorism day celebrated at S.D College for women Sultanpur Lodhi on 21-05-2026.Pledge ceremony was organized in the college campus with the aim of spreading awareness among students against terrorism and violence. The program was conducted collaboratively by the N.S.S. Department, Red Ribbon Club, and Eco Club of the college.During the program, students and staff members gathered together and took the Anti-Terrorism Pledge to promote peace, unity, harmony, and national integrity. The pledge encouraged everyone to oppose violence and work collectively for the progress and security of the nation.The programme began with an address highlighting the harmful effects of terrorism on society and the importance of maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood. \n\t\n\t\tThe quiz was conducted under the guidance of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports through the MY Bharat platform from 10 May to 20 May 2026. The activity aimed to enhance students\u2019 knowledge, awareness, and involvement in national initiatives. Students of the college participated enthusiastically in the \u201cViksit Vibrant Village Program 2026 Quiz.\u201d The competition provided an opportunity for students to learn about national development programs, rural empowerment, and youth participation in nation-building activities. The participants completed the online quiz successfully and received certificates of participation from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.The Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the N.S.S. Department for organizing such an informative and motivating activity.
